The Oakland Free University (OFU) is a community education project dedicated to creating free and accessible alternative learning opportunities for students of the humanities.  We believe learning is a gift that should be enjoyed throughout life, and are passionate about the possibilities offered by free education in the Bay Area. Through organizing, we can connect with our peers and create tools to further our education and help our communities.  We hope you’ll bring your energy to what we’re building.
